HENDERSON-Jeanette Tart Brame, 78, a resident of 1785 N. Lynnbank Road, died Monday, July 11, 2016, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on July 27, 2937 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late John Bennett Tart and Lucy Morris Tart, and was the widow of John Lewis Brame. Jeanette was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Ladies Auxiliary
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon. Burial will follow Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, James Durwood Jimmy Vick (Sharon), and Christopher Lewis Brame of Henderson and Patrick Lee Brame (Missy) of Kittrell; one brother, Joe Tart of Henderson; one sister, Betty T. Short of Henderson; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, George Parrish; and one brother, Bobby Tart.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 until 3 pm at the J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times will be at the home of Patrick and Missy Brame at 3650 Bobbitt Rd, Kittrell.
Serving as pall bearers will be Jerry Spraggins, Lee Wiggins, Carmen Bass, Ron Roberson, Brandon Pendergrass, and Lance Cottrell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeanette T. Brame Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
