TOWNSVILLE- Mrs. Jeanette Capps Twisdale, 82, of NC Hwy 39 North, died Sunday December 13, 2020 at Duke University Hospital. Born December 7, 1938 in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Gardner Capps and Martha Paschall Capps and was the widow of James Elmo "Jimmy" Twisdale.Jeanette was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.She was affectionately known as "Aunt Nett," but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and longtime member of the Tabernacle Ruth Circle.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00PM at Tabernacle United Methodist Church by Rev. David Pate.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeaneen T. Beckham (T. T.) of Henderson; two sons, Perry L. Twisdale (Claudia) of Townsville, and Anthony Twisdale (Meghan) of Hillsborough; six grandchildren, Brian Beckham (Ashley), Jamie Peoples (Josh), Mary Catherine Pearce (Michael), Elizabeth Castro (Patrick), Jackson Twisdale and Peyton Twisdale; four great grandchildren, Remy Pearce, Brooks Pearce, Beckham Peoples and Jackson Castro; and a brother, Albert Capps (Pat) of Oxford.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances C. Tucker; and two brothers, Ernest Capps and Russell Capps.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Beckham, Jackson Twisdale, Josh Peoples, Michael Pearce, Patrick Castro and Alex Small.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, PO Box 100, Townsville, NC 27584.
