HENDERSON- Jenny Lynn McCrary, age 59, a resident of 834 Stewart Farm Road, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on March 26, 1957 in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of William McCrary and Vann Hauser McCrary of Franklinton.She was employed as a human resources specialist at Variety Wholesalers.
An active member of City Road United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Parker Peace Sunday School Class, serving as church Treasurer, member of the Finance Committee of which she was a former chairman, member of the Pastor Parish Relations Committee and the Administrative Church Council Committee.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 am at City Road United Methodist Church by Pastor Edgar Vergara and Rev. Dan Baer.
She is survived by her son, Jason Pegram and wife Katie of Henderson; two grandchildren, Cole Pegram and Savannah Pegram; three sisters, Jean Scrivani and Katie Keith both of Raleigh and Mary Jackson of Bridgewater, NJ; four nephews, Anthony Daniels, Brandon Daniels, Matt Shuster and Will Jackson; and a niece, Kayla Jackson.
The family will receive friends Sunday at 1:00 pm and Monday afternoon following the service at 3 pm at the home at 834 Stewart Farm Road.
