ROCKWELL,NC-Jerry Wayne Fleming, age 60, a resident of 1220 Cannon Street, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury.Born on October 7, 1953 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Raymond Fleming and Mildred Harris Fleming.He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps and was employed as anelectrician.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Friday at 2 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Henry Abbott.
He is survived by two daughters, Candace Fleming and Angela Hester both of Henderson; two sons, Dennis Wayne Boone and James Williamson both of Henderson; six grandchildren, Skylar Weekly, Dennis Michael Boone, Hailey Boone, Kodi Dickerson, Kristen Dickerson, and Ty Hester; two sisters, Patricia Glaser and Betsy Hancock; and one brother, Michael Fleming.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Fleming and Raymond Fleming.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home
