HENDERSON-Jerry Wayne Taylor, 73, of Jerry's Footlong Hotdogs, of 334 Club Pond Rd, died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on April 17, 1946, he was the son of the late Virginia and William Bowers and was the widower of Ellen Miller Taylor.He attended Crystal River Church of God where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm by Rev. Charles Ray Anderson.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
Jerry is survived by his son, Danny Taylor of the home; his brother, Freddie Taylor and wife, Linda, of Louisburg; his Godson, Anthony Allen Clark and his son, Jaxton Taylor Clark of Henderson; a beloved sister-in-law, Judy Lewis and her husband, Charles, of Henderson; and two nieces, Sandy Clark Owen and her family and Tammy Stevenson and her family. His beloved cousin Janice Harp Watson who he considered a sister.
He was preceded in death by one brother Gene Taylor.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
