Jesse Willard Chappell, Jr., age 59, a resident of 728 Elliott Road, died Monday, December 29, 2014, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on May 19, 1955 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Jesse Willard Chappell, Sr. and Mary Pierce Chappell.Jesse was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
He is survived by his companion Rebekah Richardson of the home; one daughter, Jessica House of Henderson, one son, Toby Chappell of Greenwood South Carolina; one brother, Danny Chappell of Kittrell; one step daughter, Jennifer Jeffries of Clayton; one step son Jonathan Tyler of the home and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Jason ONeill.
