Jesse Walter Clopton, Jr. age 64, a resident of 5240 Hwy 39 N., died Sunday October 16, 2011 at Maria Parham Medical Center. A native of Vance county he was the son of the late Jesse Walter Clopton, Sr. and Mary Forsythe Clopton.
He was a retired mechanic with Certainteed of Oxford.
A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 at Sunset Gardens cemetery by Rev. Frank Sossamon.
He is survived by one son Christopher N. Clopton of Henderson; one sister Judy Williams of Henderson and one grandchild.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vance County Relay For Life PO Box 914 Henderson NC 27536.
