Jimmy Wayne Hedgepeth, 63, a resident of 100 W. Spain-Middleburg Road, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at his home.Born on December 18, 1952 in Vance County, he was the son of Pauline Roberson Hedgepeth of Kittrell and the late Oscar Hedgepeth, Jr.Jimmy retired from Purolator where he worked for more than 30 years as a truck driver and was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church by the Dr. Fred McGehee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Neighbors Bostic Hedgepeth of the home; one sister, Dianne H. Fulcher of Henderson; a nephew, Travis Fulcher; a niece Angela Fulcher and a grandson, Josh Bostic.
The family will receive friends Saturday night at J. M. White Funeral from 7 until 8:30 pm.At other times they will be at his home, 100 W. Spain-Middleburg Road.
Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Fulcher, Kenneth Roach, Troy Bostic, Mike Bostic, Steven Bostic and Wayne Pendergrass.
