HENDERSON-James "Jimmy" Lee Hicks, 54, of 227 Parrott Road died Wednesday, May 25, 2016.Born in Franklin County on February 12, 1962, he was the son of the late Frank F. "Buster" Hicks and Mary Prewer Hicks.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by one daughter, Lorilea Anstead of Kittrell; one son, Jamie Hick of the homes; two sisters, Faye Champion and Margaret Hunt of Henderson; two brothers, Frank Hicks, Jr. and Sammy Hicks of Henderson; and four grandchildren.He was preceded by his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Anstead Hicks.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:30 until 3 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Lorilea Anstead, 1543 Rocky Ford Road, Kittrell.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Jimmy Lee Hicks Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zebu Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
