John Newcomb Beal

Henrico, VA- John Newcomb Beal, 85, passed away December 3, 2023. He was born in Vance County. He worked at Phillip Morris for 31 years as a Machine Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Walter Sr. and Mary Frances Beal, siblings Lewis Walter Beal, Jr. and Evelyn Jackson, wife Gloria Clary Beal and son Kevin Beal. He is survived by his siblings Bruce (Polly) Beal, Frank Beal, Mary Ann Allison, Bessie Wortham, June Overby, and Betty Hope, his son Keith Beal (Tammy), daughter-in-love Sandra Lee (Eric), grandchildren Tyler Beal (Lexi), Chase Beal, Natasha Frelin, Chris, Cary and Chad Matthews, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bliley’s Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23228.
