John Fulghum Cannady IV

OXFORD-John Fulghum Cannady, IV, 49, a resident of Salem Farm Rd., passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at his home. Born February 18, 1976 in Vance County, he was the son of Elaine Harris Cannady and John Fulghum Cannady, III of Henderson. John was Executive Vice President of Greystone Concrete Products, Inc. and a member of First Baptist Church Henderson. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University, a collector of Henderson memorabilia, and Coca Cola advertising products.

A graveside funeral will be held Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. by Dr. Ronald S. Cava at Elmwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service at Elmwood beginning at 1:15 P.M. and following the service.  At other times they will be at the home of his parents on Parker Lane in Henderson.  

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Susan Cannady Martin and husband Andrew Charles Martin of Wake Forest; two nephews, Graydon Andrew Martin and Alexander Hilman Martin; and an uncle, Samuel Hilman Cannady of Henderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Henderson, PO Box 75, Henderson NC 27536.
