HENDERSON-John Madison Mack Granger, age 69, a resident of Henderson died Saturday, December 13, 2014, at his home.Born on February 4, 1945 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Benjamin W. Granger, Sr. and Lucy Paschall Granger.He served in the North Carolina National Guard, and was retired from Certainteed Corp . He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 pm at Sunset Gardens by the Pastor Denvil Farley.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Loyd Granger of the home; one daughter, Jennifer G. Creech and husband, Richard of Norlina; one granddaughter, Madison Creech; and one brother, Charles Buster Granger and wife, Mary C. of Henderson.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann G. Dudley and Judy G. Cates; and two brothers, Doug Granger and Ben Granger, Jr.
The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset Gardens.At other times they will be at the home.
