Johnny Briggs

HENDERSON- Johnny Briggs, 58, of South Carolina Ave, died Friday, May 13, 2022 at Maria Parham Health. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank Briggs. He was the son of the late Frank Briggs. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Johnny is survived by his beloved wife, Sonja Sheilds-Briggs of the home; his son, Brandon Briggs of MI; his step-daughter, Eryka Canty of the home; his step-son, Christopher Canty of the home; his brother, Frank Briggs of SC and Kay Franky of SC; and a niece Tori. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, “Granny” who loved him like son.
