Jon Michael Vanderford, age 58, a resident of 545 South Cooper Drive, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at home.Born in Durham County on October 10, 1954 he was the son of the late Ruth Bissett Vanderford and Rudolph Vanderford.He was a former employee of Maria Parham Medical Center and McDonalds.He attended the Salvation Army Church.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
He is survived by his sister, Lynne V. Crowder of Henderson.
The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday at Sunset Gardens and at other times they will be at the home of Lynne Crowder, 112 Crowder Court, Henderson.
