Jones "Buddy" Walter Lee

Jones Walter "Buddy" Lee, Jr., age 86, a resident of 1188 Cheatham Mabry Road, died Tuesday,November 8, 2016, at his home.Born in Vance County on December 24, 1929, he was the son of the late Jones Walter Lee, Sr. and Clotelia George Lee.He was retired from Peck Manufacturing Co. in Warrenton.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holliness by the Rev. Frank Sossamon and the Rev. Aaron Leonard.Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Leonard Lee of the home; two daughters, Holly Lee Sossamon of Henderson and Linda Lee Gupton; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-son, Christopher N. Clopton; one sister, Dolly Rose Harp; and one brother, Linwood Lee.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1 until 2 pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as active pall bearers will be David Barnett, Jerry Patterson, Jason Leonard, Billy Davidson, Jacob Wilson, Chris Harp, Thomas Harp, and Brian Lee.
