Jose Angel De Leon

**ATTENTON** ANYONE ATTENDING THE SERVICE SHOULD BE AT THE CHURCH BY 1:30 PM, WELDONS MILL ROAD WILL BE CLOSED AT 1:45PM UNTIL THE SERVICE IS OVER. Jose Angel De Leon, 30, of Perry Ave, died Sunday, December 4, 2022. Born in Durham Co. on July 22, 1992, he was the son of Gudalupe “Lupe” De Leon and Blanca De Leon of Henderson. Jose was a deputy with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and a member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Monday December 12, 2022 at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church at 2:00 PM by Rev. Tim Burgress. Burial with honors will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Kingsley Angel “AJ” De Leon; girlfriend, Anna White; a sister, Leslie De Leon of Henderson; two brothers, Adrien De Leon and his wife Sara, and Ethan De Leon, all of Henderson; a niece, Olive De Leon; and his paternal grandmother, Bertha Miranda of Mexico; and his large extended family. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Family Life Center. At other times they will receive friends at the home, 1466 Perry Avenue, Henderson, NC 27536 until 7:00 PM in the evenings.
