HENDERSON-Jose Antonio "Tony" Lopez, age 26, a resident of 237 Stewart Farm Road, died Friday, March 29, 2013, from injuries received in a motor cycle accident.Born on February 14, 1987, in Durham County, he was the son of Glenda Satterwhite Lopez and Jose Carlos Lopez of the home.He was employed in commercial landscaping, and attended Mt. Aarat Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Mt. Aarat Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Allen Ayscue.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Veronica Lopez of Henderson; one son, Anthony Lopez of Henderson; one sister, Jessica Lopez of Henderson; three brothers, Carlos Lopez, Michael Lopez, and Kevin Lopez all of Henderson; his maternal grandmother, Annie Satterwhite of Henderson; and his paternal grandparents, Maria Lopez Rosales of Henderson and Carlos Lopez Ortiz of Texas..
The family will receive friends Monday night from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 237 Stewart Farm Road.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Ellis, Larry Satterwhite, James Satterwhite, Joel Lopez, Chris Johnny, and Francisco Jaramillo Lopez.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
