JOSE L. VERDIN
HENDERSON-Jose Luis Verdin, age 20, a resident of 795 Dabney Road, died Sunday, July 25, 2010.Born in Durham County on July 4, 1990, he was the son of Jose R. Verdin of Georgia and Deborah Travis Salas of Henderson.He was a former student of Northern Vance High School and was employed as a roofer.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Aubrey Florence.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Benito Luis Martinez-Verdin of Henderson; his finance Monique Martinez of Henderson; his step-father, Antonio Salas of the home; two sisters, Michelle Travis of Henderson and Veronica Verdin of Fresno, Texas; and one brother, Jose Antonio Verdin of Henderson.
The family will receive friends Thursday immediately following the service at Sunset Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jose Luis Verdin Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, N. C.27536.
