Joseph Lee Dargan, Jr., age 80, died Tuesday October 30, 2012 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on February 19, 1932 in Hornell, NY he was the son of the late Dr. Joseph Lee Dargan, Sr. and Frances McEneny Dargan.
He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.He was a retired United States Safety Engineer.
A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church by Father Columba Nnorom, PhD.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce H. Dargan of the home; a daughter, Holly Creidler of Durham; a son, Sean Michael Dargan of Madison, WI; a sister, Margo VanCleef of Annapolis, MD; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service at St. James Catholic Church.
