OXFORD- Joseph Edward Elliott, Jr., age 53, a resident of 6195 Harold OBrien Rd. died Monday November 10, 2014.Born in Granville County on April 30, 1961, he was the son of the late Joseph E. Elliott, Sr. and Rosalie Currin Barnes.He was a diary farmer and a member of Dexter Baptist Church.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday at 2pm at Enon Baptist Church by Rev. Wayne Clark.
He is survived by a daughter, Danielle Faucette of Henderson; three sisters, Goldie Garrett and Karen Elliott of Henderson, and Cheri Barnes of Lexington, SC; a brother, John Barnes of Henderson; and two grandchildren, Clara and Cooper Faucette.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Faucette and a brother, Joseph Perry Elliott.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Dexter Baptist Church, C/O Michelle Thomas, 6661 Huntsboro Road, Oxford, NC 27565.
