HENDERSON-Joseph Randall "Randy" Penny, 56, a resident of Henderson, died Saturday, July 20, 2019.Born in Vance County on June 8, 1963, he was the son of Mildred Outland Penny of Henderson and the late Joseph Earl Penny.
Randy attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Penny of Henderson; two daughters, Courtney Catherine Perkinson (Scott) and Carrie Lee Morgan Penny of Henderson; one son, Joseph Earl Penny of Henderson; four grandchildren, Kolbie Perkinson, Kolton Perkinson, Jr. Perkinson, and Drake Perkinson; one brother, Timothy Viverette (Stephanie) of Durham; two nieces, two nephews, and one great niece.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 12:30 until 2 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of his mother, Mildred Penny at 118 Southern Avenue.
