She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church and the former Free Gospel Mission Church.She loved her grandchildren and loved caring for others.She enjoyed cooking and preparing Jell-O salads and sweet potato casserole for the sick in the community.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2 pm at Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church, Vicksboro Road, by Rev. Michael Bryant and Rev. Yogi Campbell.Burial will follow in New Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Larry Brame and wife Elaine; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Brame of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Michael Brame (Sherrie), and Greg Brame (Leigh) both of Raleigh, Charles "Chuck" Brame of Charlotte, and Michelle B. Wright (Chris) of Hendersonville, NC; four great grandchildren, Abigail Wright and Ian Wright of Hendersonville, NC, Greyson Brame and Reagan Brame both of Raleigh; one half-brother, William "Bill" Fitts of San Jose, CA; and one-half-sister, Betty Jane F. Keske of Orange, CA.She was preceded in death by two sons, Norman V. Brame and Harry E. Brame; a brother Charles Fitts and a sister, Elizabeth Eubanks.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 6 pm until 8 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Larry and Elaine Brame, 1079 Eastern Blvd., Henderson, NC27536.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Brame, Greg Brame, Charles "Chuck" Brame, Ray Patrick, Mike Coghill, and Robert Lester.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5256 Vicksboro Road, Henderson, NC27537.
