OXFORD- Josephine Jackson Holbrook, 77, of Coventry Drive, died Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Granville Medical Center.
Born in Granville County on September 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Felix C. Jackson and Mary Elliott Jackson and was the widow of George Wayne Holbrook.She was a homemaker.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Holbrook is survived by her sister, Viola Simmons of Henderson.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, George Wayne Holbrook, Jr., two brothers, Julian Jackson and William Jackson; and seven sisters, Rosa Lee Tuck, Beulah Greenway, Mozelle Cooke, Marilyn Franklin, Judith Parker, Dolly Travis and Elaine Cottrell.
