Josephine Pulley Moss, age 86, a resident of 317 Moss Stock Farm Road, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Community Memorial Health Center in South Hill, VA.Born on October 5, 1925, in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Pulley and Mary Lee Hight Pulley.She was retired from Westinghouse in Raleigh.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria M. Roberts and husband Mike of Kittrell; two sons, Grady Moss and wife Cher of Raleigh and Dr. Kirby Moss and wife Sandy of Harrison, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hector H. Moss; two brothers, Lynwood Pulley and Louis Pulley; and a sister, Marie P. Jones.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. At other times they will be at the home of Mike and Gloria Roberts, 1210 Walter Grissom Road, Kittrell.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church C/O Sally Wynne, 63 S. Williams Street, Kittrell, NC 27544.
