HENDERSON-Joyce Edwards Poole, 82, a resident of Kittrell, died on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Born on June 18, 1936 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late William Edwards and Ora Neal Edwards.
Mrs. Poole was retired from Royal Home Fashions and was a lifelong member of Victory Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 pm at Victory Baptist Church by the Rev. Ricky Easter.
She is survived by one son, Edward Poole and his wife, Rita, who was her special daughter-in-law, of Henderson; two grandchildren, Nikki Poole and Jimmy Poole; three great grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Josh Poole, and Mekala Poole; three great great grandchildren, Emma Edwards, Fia Edwards, and Kenley Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Poole Brower Stone; five sisters; and three brothers.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 pm at Victory Baptist Church.At other times they will be at the home of Edward and Rita Poole, 101 Rose Bud Lane.
