HENDERSON- Mrs. Joyce Sharpe Pulley, age 84, a former resident of Lynnbank Road, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at The GrayBrier Nursing and Rehab Center.Born in Richland, GA on July 24, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Leslie Giles Sharpe and Julia Stringfellow Sharpe.She was a homemaker and member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Union Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. J.H. Daniels and Rev. Joe Precht.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pulley is survived by her daughter, Marjorie P. McPherson of Trinity; her son, Larry Pulley and wife Janis of Durham; two sisters, Virginia S. Gioiello of Panama City, FL and Doris Jean S. Ferguson of Ocala FL; a brother, Leslie G. Sharpe and wife Brenda of Ocala, FL; two granddaughters, Erin M. Frishy and husband Jeff and Amy M. Anderson and husband Joseph; and three great grandchildren, David Frisby, Ronon Frisby and Miles Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurston Lee Pulley.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
