HENDERSON- Mrs. Joyce Ann Lawson Talley, age 49, a resident of 277 Abbott Road, died March 1, 2015 at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on January 19, 1966 in Vance County, she is the daughter of William Franklin Lawson and Peggy Ellington Lawson of Henderson.She was a private duty CNA and attended Freedom Life Church of God.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Prewer.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Gregory Lynn Talley of the home; a daughter, Tiffany Ann Talley of Henderson; three sons, Matthew L. Talley and Adam Talley of the home and Steven Talley of Henderson; a sister, Debra L. Taylor of Henderson; two brothers, Franky Lawson and Billy Joe Lawson both of Henderson; and two grandchildren, Alexis Talley and Skyler Vanatta.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Franky and Ann Lawson, 426 Rollins Ave.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Matthew Talley, Jonathan Wilson, Mark Vanatta, Timothy Spain, Paul Manning and Clint Faulkner.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joyce Lawson Funeral Fund, C/O J.M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
