MANSON- Juanita Kaye Ellington, 75, of Ellington Farm Road, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Maria Parham Health. Born September 6, 1949 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Ella Adcock Ellington and William B. Ellington. Kaye was a member of Mt. Auburn United Church of Christ in Manson. She loved spending time with her family. Her siblings remember her as a wonderful caregiver to all, but especially their mother as she was aging. Kaye was a wonderful homemaker, she took great pride in her home and enjoyed decorating it with all things associated with chickens and roosters. She was particularly gifted as a caregiver for the adult residents of Murdoch Center in Butner. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Candy White at Mt. Auburn United Church of Christ. Kaye is survived by four sisters, Betsy Ellington, Judy E. Stainback (Duke), Jan E. Reese (Gregg), all of Manson and Melony E. Paul (Curtis) of Henderson; a brother, William B. “Bill” Ellington (Cheryl) of Manson; a niece, Heather E. Peele; eight nephews, Troy Stainback, Blaine Reese, Jamie Reese, Byron Stainback, Lee Stainback, Gabriel Ellington, Will Stamey and Jacob Reese; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two great-nephews.
