HENDERSON-Mrs. Judith Faye Edwards, age 73, a resident of 5031 Vicksboro Road, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her home. Born March 8, 1941 in Vance County she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edwards and Estelle Wilder Edwards.She was retired from Duke Rebuilders where she worked as a bookkeeper. She attended Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM at Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness, formerly Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, by Rev. Earl Campbell.Burial will follow in the New Sandy Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Perry and husband Marshall of Henderson; a son, Tony Hilton and wife Tracey of Henderson; a sister, Estelle E. Harris of Henderson; a brother, Jerry Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Blake Hilton, Lindsey Perry, and Anthony Clark.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 2:00 pm till 3:00 pm at Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church.At other times they will be at the home of Marshall and Sheryl Perry, 1127 Franklin Ln, Henderson, NC 27537.
Serving as active pall bearers will be James Edwards, Gary Ayscue, Dennis Raily, Larry Brame, and Mike Ayscue
