HENDERSON- Judith Stegall Riley, 70, of 132 Carey Chapel Road, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Rex Hospital.Born July 2, 1949 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Stegall and Ethel Carroll Carter Stegall.Mrs. Riley was a secretary for Quality Insulation Company.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Dr. Michael Grant.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Riley, Jr. of the home; her daughter, Stephanie Riley Edwards of Henderson; her son, Anthony Lee "Tony" Riley, Sr. (Doris) of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Tiffani Wilson, Tiffany Edwards, Dylan Edwards, Anthony Lee "A.J." Riley, Jr., Hannah Edwards, Joshua Edwards, Chancey Riley; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Patsy S. Parker of Spring Lake.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 at J.M. White Funeral Home; at other times they will be at the home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Edwards, A.J. Riley, Joshua Edwards, Hunter Creech, J.L. Matthews, George Craig, and Rodney Carroll.
