HENDERSON-Junius Woodrow “Woody” Loving, 74, a resident of Franklin Road, died Monday, July 1, 2024 at Cone Health Alamance Regional in Burlington. Born on February 7, 1950 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Junius Loving and Ola Mae Roberts Loving. Woody proudly served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was retired from Vance Furniture Company where he was the Accounts Manager and was a member of Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Prewer and Rev. Vernon Potter. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Judy Harris Loving of the home; two daughters, Lynn Cash of Ellenboro and April Dawn Loving of Louisburg; two sons, Ronnie Cash of Crystal Springs, Florida, and Jon Barker of Henderson; five grandchildren, Brian Cash, Craig Cash, Daniel Cash, Kimberly Edwards, and Summer Rayne Clayborne; eight great grandchildren, Ayane Cash, Josiah Cash, Rini Cash, Zoey Cash, Avah Cash, Emry Edwards, Nora Cash and Dallon Edwards; three sisters, Peggy Steely, and Carolyn McNeely of Henderson, and Denise Barber of Greenville; and a brother, Tommy Loving of Franklinton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Wayne Loving. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home. Serving as pallbearers will be Derick Edwards, Curtis Lovings, Kendall Lovings, Danny Lovings, Jordan Barber, Jake McNeely, Brian Cash, and Josiah Cash.
