Karen Hale Ivey

HENDERSON- Karen Denise Hale Ivey, 65, of Arrow Street, died Sunday, September 6, 2026 at her home. Born March 16, 1961 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Newcomb Abbott Hale and Joseph Aaron Hale.

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Mark Bateman in Sunset Gardens Cemetery.

Karen is survived by her son, Lonnie Hale and wife, Emily; two daughters, Cassidy Glenn and husband, Matthew and Priscilla Davis and husband, Johnathan; five grandchildren, Hayleigh Davis, Madison Lane, Nathan Davis, Waylon Glenn and Poppi Jo Glenn; her sister, Linda Coghill and her brother, Steve Hale and wife, Kay.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Sunset Gardens and at other times at the home of Lonnie and Emily Hale, 275 Brentwood Lane, Henderson, NC 27537.
