Keith Hartwell Harris, age 57, a resident of 4999 Glebe Rd., died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at his home. Born on June 29, 1956 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Franklin Harris and Shirley Raines Harris of Henderson. He was employed as a carpenter by the Rogers Group.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday night at 7 pm at the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
He is survived by one daughter, Bethany Nicole Harris and husband Dustin Moore of Stantonsburg; one granddaughter, Madilynn Nicole Moore of Stantonsburg; two sisters, Darlene Ayscue and Belinda Garner, both of Henderson; and one stepbrother, Scottie Barham, Sr. of Henderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Letisa Harris; one brother, Andy Harris; and his stepfather, Leon Barham.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday night from 6 until 7 pm at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times, they will receive friends at the home.
