Kenneth "Ken" Carpunky

Kenneth Junior "Ken" Carpunky, 89, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on July 4, 1929 in Madison County, Illinois, he was the son of the late Truman Kenneth Carpunky and Pauline Doyle Carpunky. He was a retired mechanical engineer with Glaxo, Smith & Kline.
He is survived by his three sons, Doyle Carpunky(Jill) and Lit Carpunky (Erin) all of Henderson and Kenny Ray Carpunque (Pat) of Cary; one daughter, Debra C Moras (Trent) of Garner; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1 until 2 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Doyle and Jill Carpunky, Henderson, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vance County Rescue, PO Box 402, Henderson, NC27536.
