HENDERSON-Kenneth N. Perdue, 85, a resident of Henderson, died Friday, January 08, 2021, at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on January 30, 1935, he was the son of the late John Thomas Perdue and Mattie Parrish Perdue and was the widower of Charlotte Grissom Perdue.Kenneth was a salesman for the former Heilig-Meyers Furniture Store.
Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 00 PM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Tim Burgess.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Champion (James) of Manson and Kelly Edwards (Justin) of Epsom; one son, Kevin M. Perdue (Kelley) of Henderson; one sister, Shirley P. Allgood of Middleburg; and five grandchildren, Mary Champion, Austin Edwards, Joseph Edwards, Emileigh and Taylor. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Perdue; three sisters, Ada P. White, Lucille P. Brinson, and Mattie Pearl Brinson; and six brothers, John Perdue, Jr., Albert Perdue, Roy Perdue, Hartwell Perdue, James Perdue, and Wilton Perdue.
All attending the service are asked to follow CDC guidelines by wearing appropriate face coverings and observing social distancing.
