HENDERSON-Larry Dale Boone, age 51, a resident of 1820 Garland Street, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his home.Born on January 6, 1959 in Suisun City, California, he was the son of Mary Kittrell Parrish of Henderson and the late James Clarence Boone.He was medically disabled and was formerly employed with Matthews Paint Company.Me. Boone formerly attended Celebrations Church in Oxford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Vonita Lamb Boone of the home; his step-father, Furman Parrish of Henderson; one son, Charles L. Riggan, Jr. of Oxford; three
brothers, Dennis Boone, Anthony Boone, and Eugene Parrish all of Henderson; and two grandchildren.He was preceded in deth by one sister, Denise Boone Harp.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 1820 Garland Street.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Curtis Matthews, JohnMatthews, Daniel Parrish, Robert Grissom, Jr., Justin Harp, and Keith Boone.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Vance County Relay For Life, P. O. Box 914, Henderson, N. C.27536.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
