Larry Malcolm Satterwhite

HENDERSON- Larry Malcolm Satterwhite, 68, of Oakland Avenue, died Friday, November 4, 2022 at Maria Parham Health. Born November 12, 1953 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Malcolm Satterwhite and Martha Hines Satterwhite of Henderson. He was the owner of RK & B Plumbing. In addition to coaching his children on Vance County Rec Department teams, Larry loved all things sports. In his younger years he was an avid hunter. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Island Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Johnny Yount. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Angela Satterwhite of the home; two sons, Kyle Satterwhite and wife, Alli and Ryan Satterwhite and wife, Stephanie, all of Roxboro; two daughters, Amber Keeter and husband, Caleb and Kimberly Martin and husband, Wesley, all of Henderson; and three grandchildren, Skyler Satterwhite, Bennett Martin and Claire Satterwhite. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM in the fellowship hall of Island Creek Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Island Creek Baptist Church, 950 Stagecoach Road, Henderson, NC 27537. Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Edwards, Jason Edwards, Charlie Keeter, Joe Riggan, Serveriano Escamillo (Chaco), Larry Salmon, Pete Smith, Tony Ranes, Chris Winn, David Kelly and Chad Elliott.
