HENDERSON-Larry Sidney West, age 65, a resident of Henderson, died Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on January 24, 1948, in Vance County, he was the son of the late Sidney Fleming West and Rosa Abbott West.He was retired from NAPA, and was a member of South Henderson Church Of God where he taught the Mens Bible Class and Bible Study.
A memorial service will be held Sunday night, December 29, 2013, at 6 pm at South Henderson Church Of God by the Rev. Gary Harper and the Rev. Jake Roberson.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Kay Roberson West of the home; four sisters, Margaret W. Roberson of Randleman, Doris W. Frazier, Helen W. Clark, and Sarah W. Twisdale all of Henderson.He was preceded in death by one brother, Morris West.
The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday night at South Henderson Church Of God.At other times they will be at the home.
