HENDERSON- Laura Patricia Pirie Ayscue, 84, of 565 S. Cooper Drive, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on January 29, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Robert Pirie, Sr. and Eva Mae Averette Pirie.She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Henderson.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Matthew Copple.
She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Dickerson of Kittrell and Sandra Travis of China Grove; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her brother, Robert C. Pirie, Jr. of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Dickerson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 till 2:00 at Sunset Gardens and at other times at the home of Samantha Hedgepeth, 1295 Kelly Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
