HENDERSON- Laurice Louise “Pinky” Lawson Boyd Faucette, 77, of Vicksboro Road, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Wake Medical Center. Born in Vance County on August 24, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Lawson and Annie Reid Lawson and was the widow of Shirley Thomas Boyd and Rev. Willard Harold “Buddy” Faucette. She was a member of the former Trinity Church of the Living God where she served as pianist for many years. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Donald Luffman. Mrs. Faucette is survived by a daughter, Sandra Boyd Shearin and husband, Dean of Louisburg; a son, Thomas Keith Boyd, Sr. and wife, Donna of Henderson; three grandsons, Thomas K. Boyd, Jr. and wife Morgan, Landon Dean Shearin, and Jonathan Gray Boyd; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Thomas Boyd and Riley Jade Boyd; a brother, William F. “Billy” Lawson; three sisters, Beauena Lawson Tucker, Charlotte Lawson House and June Lawson Harp and husband, Alton; and her beloved dog, “Rascal.” In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Furnie Lawson and Eddie Lawson and a sister, Kennon Lawson Lassiter. The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset Gardens and also at the home from noon until 7pm on Saturday, October 30th and Sunday, October 31st.
