Lee Wayne Testerman

Mr. Lee Wayne Testerman, age 83, a resident of Deerwood Trail, died Saturday April 15, 2023. Born March 18, 1940 in Wythe Co. Virginia, he was the son of the late Jesse B Sage and Gladys Hester Sage. Lee was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church and was a retired Truck Driver where he drove for Bandag and Estes Trucking Companies. After he retired Lee drove the School Bus at Crossroads Christian School. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 18, 2023 at 11:00 at the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tony Evans. Entombment will follow at Meadowview Cemetery in Oxford. Lee is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gloria Jean Smoke Testerman; one daughter, Treva T. Hart of Henderson; one son, Brad Testerman and wife Jeana of Henderson; six grandchildren, Kevin Hart and wife Brittany, Tyler Hart and wife Sarah, Kelly Grainger and husband Jeremy, Katie Testerman, Kyle Testerman, and Kurt Testerman; three great grandchildren, Olivia Hart, Payton Hart, and J.J. Grainger; his faithful companion Trixie; one sister, Dreama S. Vernon and husband James of Marion VA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Overbey and Carol Buchanan. The family will visit with friends following the service at Meadowview Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Kevin Hart, Tyler Hart, Ricky Hart, Kyle Testerman, Kurt Testerman, and Josh Patterson.
