HENDERSON-Lee Roy Williams, Jr., age 67, a resident of 4350 Hicksboro Road, died Friday, February 12, 2016, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.Born in Vance County on January 8, 1949, he was the son of the late Lee Roy Williams, Sr. and Rosa Pauline Short Williams.Mr. Williams was a retired foreman at Laurens Glass Plant.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 3 PM at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Robert Greene, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Vennie Williams of the home; one daughter, Beverly Burnette of Louisburg; one son, Scott Williams of Henderson; two sisters, Rosa Williams Twisdale of Henderson and Vivian Williams Howard of Thomasville; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at his home at 4350 Hicksboro Road.
