HENDERSON- Leland Gill "Bro" Grissom, Jr., 79, of Southern Ave, died Monday, February 15, 2021 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Vance County on June 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Leland Gill Grissom, Sr. and Louise Faucette Grissom.He was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM by Rev. Gene Wood at Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Mella Robinson Grissom of the home; a sister, Betty Jean Lawrence and husband, Jimmy of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset Gardens on Wednesday.
Mr. Grissom may be viewed Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
