LILLIAN S. FLOYD-Lillian Spain Floyd, age 83, a resident of 410 Birch Drive, and a former resident of Henderson, died Thursday, July 05, 2012, at her home.Born in Warren County on May 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lewis A. Spain and Susie Rebecca Rivers Spain.
Lillian was a homemaker and a member of Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held atat Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Cleveland Harrison.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by three daughters, Lydia F. Capps and Rebecca F. Hale of Goldsboro, and Gale Davis of Bladenboro; two sons, Jimmy Floyd of Wilmington, and Brian Floyd of Henderson; one brother, Alvin Spain of Fuquay-Varina; seventeen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Walter Edward Floyd; one son, Walter Gerald Floyd; three sisters, Margie Felts, Geraldine Roberson, and Lucy Edmonds; and one brother, James Spain.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
