Lillian Marcelle Lowry

HENDERSON- Lillian Marcelle Lee Lowry, 79, of Farmwood Lane, died Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Universal Health Care in Oxford. Born December 15, 1943 in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Herman Howard Lee and Emma Huntley Lee. She retired from Nationwide Insurance where she worked for more than 30 years as a supervisor. Marcelle was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed music andspending time with her family, dogs and cats. No services are planned at this time. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Earl Lowry of the home; her daughter, Debbie Lowry Ruggles (David) of Flagler Beach, FL; her son, Brian Lowry (Melissa Howard) of Durham; her grandson, Jacob “Jake” Ruggles; her sister-in-law, Frances Lee; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy L. Kinney and her brother, James Edward Lee.
