KITTRELL-Linda Pulley Cameron, 70, a resident of Kittrell, died Friday, September 3, 2021 in Savannah, Georgia.Born on October 8, 1950 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Chester Clarence Pulley and Janie Kearson Pulley.Linda was a retired secretary from the North Carolina Department of Corrections and was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Private funeral services were held on Thursday at Union Chapel United Methodist Church by Jamie Gay and Rev. Radford Frazier.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Merlin Cameron of the home; one son Thomas Merlin Cameron of Savannah, Georgia; one sister Carol P. Slaughter of Oxford; and one brother, Lawrence Pulley of Kittrell.
Serving as active pall bearers were Keith Gay, Richard Gay, Michael Pulley, Matthew Pulley, Bryant Cobb, William Weaver, and Kevin Collins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Kittrell Volunteer Fire Department, C/O Billy Fleming, 172 Charlie Grissom Rd., Kittrell, NC 27544.
