Linda Stainback Hunter

OXFORD-Linda Stainback Hunter, age 60, a resident of 5440 Hicksboro Road, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Duke Medical Center.
Born in Vance County on November 13, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Madison Stainback and Grace Vaughan Stainback, and was the widow of Bobby Hunter and Edward Hausch.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 pm at Pine Forest Memorial Cemetery in Wake Forest.
She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Hunter of Clayton one son, Bruce Hunter of Raleigh; her siblings, Brenda Wilson and J. W. Stainback; and two grandchildren, Atlanta Steagall, and Eileia Hunter.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Pine Forest Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home.
