Linda Sharrine Sharri Foster Peterson, age 52, a resident of 97 Vincent Hoyle Road, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.Born on March 22, 1959 in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Richard Woodrow Foster and Margie Anita Wilbanks Foster of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Peterson was a former Secretary at Clayton Mobile Homes Corporate Office in Knoxville, Tennessee, and attended South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Linda was an avid sewer and loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren and
riding her motorcycle.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Memorial services will also be held in Knoxville, Tennessee at a later date.
She is survived by her companion, Joe Lewis of the home; one daughter, Amanda Dance of Henderson; one brother, Richard Dean Foster of Knoxville, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Aidan Brown and Kyrsten Brown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service from 6:00 until 7:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
