LOUISBURG- Linda Rae Sanders, 63, of West River Rd. died Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her home.Born in Vance County on July 23,1957, she was the daughter of the late Moody Ray Sanders and Doris Robertson Sanders.She was retired from the Franklin County School System where she worked as the cafeteria manager for Louisburg Elementary School.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Johnny Yount.Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Horton (Bryan) of Middlesex and Susan Armstrong of Winston-Salem; a special friend, James Bruce Groves, Jr.; and six grandchildren, Austin Herms, Brandon Herms, Zachary Herms, Dillion Dickerson, Jacob Hand and Tommy Horton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Groves; and a granddaughter, Emily Hand.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 pm at J.M. White Funeral Home.
