Henderson, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home.Born in Charlotte on April 4, 1970
she was the daughter of Loretta Gail Sigmon and Larry Wade Marlow of Alexis, NC.
Lori was a graduate of East Gaston H.S. and N.C. State University, where she earned a bachelors degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.She was employed with North Carolina State Parks from 1993-2007. During her career, she served in Park Ranger positions at Eno River and Medoc Mountain. She then served State Parks as the North District Interpretation and Education Specialist before leaving to devote more time to motherhood.Lori loved all of Gods creations and enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the natural world with others, especially her son, Tyler.Lori taught yoga at Studio Main Street in Henderson.She was also a volunteer yoga instructor for the Vance Aquatics Club swim team and loved every minute that she was able to spend with the team.She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church in Henderson, conducted by Pastor Terry Huffines.The family will receive friends at a reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Bryce P. Fleming and her son, Tyler of the home; her sister, Lola M Giese (Charlie) of Fort Wayne Indiana and their children Bradley, Carlie and Luke; Her mother and father-in-law, Roxanne and Bob Fleming; and brother-in-law, Greg Fleming (Anne).
